Thanks to Alfred & Angie Foster for letting us know about this place. The movie Dirty Dancing was filmed at Lake Lure. The Last Of The Mohicans was filmed very near here at Chimney Rock. The elevator has either been modded or added. Not sure what brand but guessing somewhere along the lines of Montgomery Kone but not really positive. Any guesses?
